Family dogs first. A legacy that goes back generations.

Our love for Golden Retrievers goes back long before Heartland GoldenDoodles. Goldens have been raised within our family since 1985, beginning near Entwistle, Alberta alongside a long-standing passion for raising Tennessee Walking Horses. Over the years, several CKC registered Goldens have been part of the lineage behind our girls.
Having both grown up on cattle ranches and around animals, we each dreamed of having a Golden Retriever of our own someday. When we finally moved to our acreage, we knew exactly where we wanted them to come from: our own family, and a line of Goldens whose temperament, history and care we had known and trusted for years.
We thought we'd bring home one came home with two... and eventually, there were three.

Golden Retriever | Golden | Approx. 75 lbs | Retired 2025
Marlee was the beginning of Heartland for us.
When we moved to our acreage in 2019, it finally felt like the right time to bring home the Golden Retriever we'd talked about for years. Marlee was everything we'd pictured: beautiful, confident, easygoing and unmistakably Golden.
She is incredibly loyal, intelligent and playful, with a love for her frisbee, fetch and especially water. She is our water baby through and through.
Her confidence and easygoing nature made her an exceptional momma and helped shape so much of what Heartland became. After raising some beautiful litters, Marlee retired in 2025.
These days, it's all about frisbees, water and acreage adventures.

Golden Retriever | Red | Approx. 55 lbs | Retired 2024
When we went to meet Marlee in 2019, we also fell in love with her beautiful red-coated full sister. Somehow, by the time we left, one puppy had become two. Marlee and Halle have grown up side by side ever since: sisters, best friends, and even helping raise each other's babies.
Halle is our sensitive soul and little ball of energy. She's incredibly affectionate, gentle and soft-hearted, with a special love for children. At a park, she's often more interested in finding the little kids for some attention than running off with the other dogs.
She loves squirrels, her toys and especially her teddy bears, which she's been carrying around since she was a puppy.
Halle was an exceptional momma and retired in 2024. Today, she's still right where she belongs, alongside Marlee and the rest of our family.

English Cream Golden Retriever | Current Momma
Our Golden family grew again when Storie joined us in the spring of 2024.
Six years younger than Marlee and Halle, Storie is their half-sister and has grown up alongside them on our acreage. She’s confident yet soft, curious, gentle, playful and incredibly affectionate.
Storie’s beautiful English Cream coat is unbelievably soft, almost like a baby bunny, and she tends to get noticed wherever she goes. She loves adventure, her toys and her people, and is incredibly adaptable wherever she goes.
She took to motherhood beautifully with her first litter and was a gentle, attentive momma.
Storie is currently expecting her next litter, due around November 1, 2026.
At Heartland GoldenDoodles, family is at the heart of everything we do. Our puppies grow up loved, happy, and surrounded by care, and we love seeing them join families who will cherish them just as much. Whether you’re here to learn, browse, or find your perfect new companion, we’re excited to welcome you and share the joy a Goldendoodle can bring to your home.
